Feeling the Divine
I take a drive into Golden Colorado around 7:00 am using 6th Avenue most mornings. The morning glory of a day just waking up always has me in awe. On my drive west, I usually start by telling the mountains out loud how majestic they are and that if I live on this earth only to tell them how their majesty makes me feel, well, then life is good. I then go on to the trees, the land, to the moon if she’s up and shinning her brilliance.
I want nature and Mother Earth to know that, if for no other reason, I’m so grateful for all of their existence. I have eyes to see them, ears to hear the sound, physical sensitivity to feel their uniqueness, and, all in all, I just want to love them. Lately, I can sometimes feel the mountains hug me back, or the water in the creek sends playful sounds of energy to my soul and, even in my shower, the water running over me caresses and fills my soul with care and love. It can be rather profound at times but always rejuvenating when I pause and allow nature to reach my soul and tickle my body.
As I was getting ready this morning, I opened up my daily reminder email from “Notes from the Universe”. This was my reminder for today:
I do wonder, Jeannine, how some people, who upon seeing gorgeous, billowing cumulus clouds floating effortlessly overhead, don't just want to explode with joy.
Or who, upon seeing a mighty old oak tree, don't run right up to it wildly screaming, "I love you!"
Or who, upon being caught in the rain, don't blush as each drop gently kisses their skin
Or who, upon gazing at a star-filled night, aren't paralyzed with awe.
Or who, upon seeing their reflection in a pond, don't cry the happiest of tears.
Do you know what I mean?
Yes, Notes from the Universe, I know what you mean!!! I felt the fingertip of the Divine touching my heart this morning as it was truly written with me in mind and every morning I've spent walking on this earth. If I can share this and encourage someone to pause and breathe in what nature wants to share with us maybe peace will caress an individually into random acts of kindness or to internally feeling the love we desperately want in our lives.
There is nothing I get from attaching this link, but I do find this morning message rather fun and playful. So, if you want to sign up for the “Notes from the Universe” daily email, this is the link: https://www.tut.com/notes-from-the-universe.
May you feel the tingle from the Divine’s kiss on you,
