Being in a Space of Gratitude

life of gratitude

What has 2020 been for you?

This year has been really tough on me and so many others. For those of us that love people and being connected to the people that we love, the coronavirus has separated many of us. My husband, Tom, said the other day that we should not be socially distant. We love people and connecting. He stated that we should change the viewpoint to being “Physically Distant instead of Socially Distant.” I totally agree with his perspective. Let’s be social and connected even when we can't be physically close to each other.

This period of isolation has been difficult on many different levels. I love people and my heart goes out to everyone that has been impacted by this virus. There is so much fear and anxiety about what happens next with our world and the people we love. I have individuals that I love more than anything in my life that are at risk with this virus. I am not a medical professional or expert, but I love people and I miss being able to really connect with my family and community.

As we move forward with opening the retail store, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be able to re-open the store and center. Discover Your Spiritual Gifts (DYSG) has a special place in my heart. It is my passion project and I love the community that has been created at the center. I am looking forward to being able to re-open our store and center.

I am very grateful for DYSG and the people that I love. As I move forward with returning to a public space, I have been considering the safety protocols that need to be in place to keep everyone safe. I am so grateful to be able to open DYSG. I do not want to do anything that could cause the Colorado Governor to close all retailers again because of increased cases. We will require all staff and visitors to wear face masks and we will increase our protocols of sanitization.

The Power of Gratitude is so incredible. As I move forward with opening the center, I AM grateful for:

  • My family and loved ones
  • My beautiful center, Discover Your Spiritual Gifts
  • My amazing students and clients
  • My spiritual tribe and community
  • And, my life . . . . .

What are you grateful for during these times?

Today is the perfect time for us to hold a space of gratitude for our lives and the lives of the people that we love.
