Taking Time to Pause and Reflect
Have you taken a moment to reflect?
The last couple of years have shifted our perspective and forced each of us to take another look at our lives and what is truly important to us. Have things changed in your life? How have those changes been for you and the ones that you love?
Time to Slow Down
I have enjoyed having the opportunity to slow down my pace and to take time to check in with my needs. My husband loved the fact that we both worked from home for six months. He loved being able to spend more time with me at home.
It gave me the time to push forward with some online offerings and to add online resources to my current classes. I was able to slow down, rest more, and to gain clarity for myself and my business.
Time to Be Sensitive to Other's Needs
This time required that I was sensitive to the needs of others, so that I could honor them in the space they were in. There were people that needed to find a space that felt safe and healthy for them. For me, it was not about what I believed or my perspective on the world and what was happening around me. The universe was asking me to be compassionate and understanding for others and it was important to be open to their perspective and what they needed at the time.
Time for Respect
There have been numerous incidents in the world that really emphasized the need for respect for each other. I have always loved people no matter who they were, what they looked like, or how they lived. This life is an experience that requires each of us to interact with other individuals. How can we honor and respect their choices, their journey, and their experience with compassion, love, and understanding? I continue to ponder this question.
This is the time of the year that I make time to pause and reflect. It is important to understand where I have traveled in order to understand where I am heading. This is the first step before I begin setting my intentions for the next year.
