Spring Equinox Rituals
Can You Believe that Spring is Here?
I love this time of year. The Spring Equinox 2022 is Sunday, March 20th.
According to the Conscious Reminder Blog, the equinox is believed to represent: "the period of struggle between darkness and light, death and life. It occurs when the night and day will be equal, and the journey of the Sun to actually get there also signifies the journey of the Universe.” This is the time of the year when we start to have longer daylight hours.
The Spring season brings new beginnings, fresh starts, new life, and bright perspectives for the future. This is the time of the year that each of us plants physical seeds for a new harvest or energetic seeds for harvesting our dreams and desires later in the year.
PRACTICES & RITUALS
This is the perfect time of the year to bring new practices and rituals into your life. I would love to share some ideas for you to consider this Spring:
Spring Altar
Take time to clean off your altar from winter. Shift the energies of your altar into new beginnings and fresh ideas. Find something to add to your altar that brings in the energies of Spring, playfulness, and sunshine. Add a few playful fairies to altar, fresh bouquet of flowers, a symbol of the sun or sunshine, bring in some bright colors, etc.
Fresh Flowers or Plants
Pick up a new plant or fresh flowers for your home. You can also plant some seeds. This would be the perfect time to start nurturing some seedlings in the house for the Spring. You can consider starting an herb garden for the summer. As you plant your seeds, think about the energetic seeds that you are planting for your life.
Spring Cleaning
Commit to a day of spring cleaning. Open the windows and allow the fresh air to come and start moving the energy of your home from the cold winter. Listen to the birds and fresh air moving the trees. Clean out the stacks around your home that have been accumulating since the holidays. It is time to make room for new things in your life.
Hug a Tree
Find a tree in your yard or neighborhood to hug. Spend a few minutes connecting to the tree's deep roots and allow yourself to feel the strength of the tree. Imagine moving to the rhythm of the tree. If you will surrender, you may even receive a wise message from the tree.

Magical Fairy Playshops
Every year, I create magical fairy playshops in April and May. These playshops have been created to allow adults to experience the magic of the fairies. During these playshops, we connect to the fairies in creative play. The attendees get the opportunity to make fairy wands, fairy dust and fairy spray.
