The Sacred Offering Bag is a hands-on experience in gratitude, sacred reciprocity, and deepening your relationship with the Earth.

Throughout time, people have offered prayers, flowers, herbs, food, sacred objects, and acts of gratitude to honor the places and energies that support them. In this class, we bring that ancient idea into a simple, meaningful practice you can carry into your everyday life.

You will create your own portable Sacred Offering Bag to take with you on hikes, vacations, retreats, ceremonies, road trips, visits to the mountains or water, and other adventures. Your kit includes a brown carrying bag and a collection of small reusable containers that you will fill with offerings that are meaningful to you.

Create Your Personal Offering Collection

During class, you will choose from an assortment of items such as crystal chips and hearts, herbs and flowers, cacao beans, birdseed, miniature seashells, charms, and other special offerings. You will learn how different offerings can be used with intention and how to consider the environment and the place you are visiting before leaving anything behind.

We will explore ways to honor the spirits of land, water, mountain, and sky, as well as sacred places, ancestors, guardians, nature spirits, and the Elemental realms.

Your offerings do not always need to be something physical. Sometimes the most appropriate gift is a prayer, blessing, healing energy, gratitude, an act of service, picking up litter, caring for the land, or simply pausing to acknowledge the sacredness of a place.
