REGISTRATION

When you register to volunteer, you will receive a confirmation email for the registration. There are a variety of activites for the volunteers. If you are unable to volunteer, please cancel or reschedule your registeration. There is a blue button at the bottom of the email confirmation. NOTE: If you are trying to register and it is not available, the spots have been taken. 

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

Our Volunteer Coordinator is Karla Brachtenbach. She has graciously taken on this role for DYSG. She assists us in making sure that we have enough volunteers for each of the opportunities available.

Appreciation Party

Volunteer Appreciation Party. Open to our Volunteers. The volunteers will receive 15% off in the store during the party.

Christmas Clean Up

Wednesday, December 28th 5 PM – 7 PM

Christmas Clean up includes taking down the tree and decorations. They will need to be packed up in the totes. (7 people)


Craft Fair 2022

Our Craft Fair is being held on the Thanksgiving weekend for Small Business Saturday. We will be setting up for the vendors on Friday night. The Craft Fair is from 10 AM - 5 PM.

Our Reader & Healer Fair is scheduled for Saturday, January 28th. We will need volunteers for setup, greeting people downstairs, prepping and setting up lunch, etc.

Body, Mind, & Spirit Expo 2023

The main purpose of the booth is to make connections and to share your experiences with Discover Your Spiritual Gifts (DYSG). We hope to have four volunteers or more per shift. This allows us to have at least 2-3 individuals meeting and greeting at the booth.

The volunteers will be giving away DYSG bags for FREE. There is a white envelope in each bag filled with an event calendar, marketing materials and contact information. Our team members have add their marketing information to the bag.

JOIN THE MAILING LIST: We will have a registration box for people to sign up for our mailing list. A newsletter is sent out to everyone once a week. The newsletter includes articles, class & event listings, and videos. When you meet individuals that are really interested in the center, you can encourage them to sign up for the newsletter. We do not share or sell our mailing lists.

ENTRANCE
The admission price for the expo is $8. When you arrive at the expo, you will text the Expo Coordinator for the day. You will be given their information in the reminder email sent out 48 hours before the event. We pay extra for the badges. You will be let into the expo for FREE for volunteering.

Make sure you arrive early for your shift!!!

KEY CONSIDERATIONS

  • Make sure your phone is fully charged
  • Wear comfortable shoes. You will be standing for your shift.
  • Bring water. You will want to stay hydrated.
  • Set your protection shields before entering the building. There is a lot of energy. I recommend wearing or carrying tourmaline, shungite, or hematite crystals for clearing and protection.
  • If you are a team member that offers services or classes at the center, make sure you bring your postcards or class information to hand out with your bags. This is an opportunity for you to make a connection with people.
  • Everyone has the opportunity to check out the expo before or after their shifts. We will also give everyone an opportunity to walk around during their shift as long as the booth has plenty of volunteers.
  • I am happy to provide insights on the readers and healers at the expo. I will have recommendations if you are looking for a specific appointment.

SCHEDULING
The volunteer shifts are for three hours. You may volunteer for more than one shift. If you are unable to attend of need to change your shift, please cancel or reschedule your shift using your Email Confirmation. There is a blue button at the bottom of the email to Cancel or Reschedule. Keep in mind, you should contact your Expo Coordinator if you are unable to attend the expo the day of the event. 

RUNNING LATE/UNABLE TO ATTEND
If you are running late or unable to come the day of the event, please text your Expo Coordinator.

Holistic Expo & Creative Market 2023

This will be the first time that Discover Your Spiritual Gifts will be one of the vendors at this expo. 

The Center for Spiritual Living Parker is excited to host its SECOND ANNUAL HOLISTIC EXPO & CREATIVE MARKET.  A wide variety of vendors will be sharing their specialties in healing, wellness, metaphysical offerings, self-care, products and services, and one-of-a-kind creative gifts that will be new to you!
