Working with the Crown Chakra Energy Center

How can you work with your Crown Chakra? Chakra is a Sanskrit word which means ‘wheel of light’.

Traditionally there are seven chakras and these are the energy centers of the etheric body. The chakras appear as wheel-like vortices of pure energy and are sometimes referred to as ‘lotuses’. They spin at great speed and, in a deeply spiritual person, they become spheres of radiant energy. 

This month, we will work with the Crown Chakra. This chakra is associated with the color clear. It brings in the feelings of angelic, spirituality, purity, divinity, and potential.  

Which of these questions are TRUE for you? 

• I am connected to the Divine

• I am fully connected to my psychic gifts

• I can channel information from the Divine and my guides

• I am safe in my spirituality

• I am on my spiritual path

• I am aligned with my divinity

If these questions are true for five or more questions, you have a healthy and active crown chakra. 

Your crown chakra may need healing and support when these conditions exist in your life: 

• Physical Conditions: Health issues with crown of the head, brain, upper head, hair, and scalp

• Mental Conditions: The individual is unable to recall memories, loss of faith and connection, and not fully connected and present

CRYSTALS

The following crystals align with this chakra:

• Quartz: This crystal amplifies your connection to your spirituality and the Divine.   

• Selenite: Brings in the Light of the Divine into your space and life.  

These crystals will bring in the energies of divine purpose, enlightenment, and connection to the Angelic Kingdom. These crystals are often purple or white. Some other options would be Howlite, Moonstone, etc. 

ESSENTIAL OILS

You can use essential oils to open each of the chakras. You can suggest these essential oils for clients that may need additional support and healing with their chakras. There may be circumstances or situations in their life causing them to close or block their chakras. It may take some additional healing and support to clear the root cause.

• Lotus

• Oakmoss

• Vetiver

NOTE: Some essential oils will be beneficial for more than one chakra. If you do some research, you may find different perspectives. Follow the guidance that resonates the most with you. There is no right or wrong answer. Keep in mind that some individuals may have allergies to some essential oils and the carrier oil. 

You can diffuse, inhale, or apply a diluted amount to your chakra area. Essential oils provide a holistic approach to healing.
