Are you focusing on the positive? 

Life is not always easy. It provides opportunities for each of us to navigate the challenges of life and to find the positive.

Some individuals may only see the thorns of the rose and others will see that the thorns have beautiful roses. What do you see?

When you are faced with a challenging day, week, or circumstance, what is your approach? Do you get buried in all the things that are going wrong?

Some individuals experience difficulties seeing the positives of their lives or a situation. They struggle with moving their focus in a new direction. It may not be easy to see the light in the darkest situations. It will take a lot of effort.

I would love to provide you with some tips:

  1. Spend time doing CLEANSING BREATHS: Release the energies of fear, anxiousness, anger, frustration, etc. Your breaths will allow you to move the energy physically, emotionally, and mentally out of your body. 
  2. Take the time to be GRATEFUL:  Spend time listing all the things that you are grateful for in this moment. If you move into that negative space, turn your focus toward gratitude. 
  3. Shift your PERSPECTIVE to see the positive in others:  Take time to notice the small and big things are happening around you to support this positive attitude. It will require that you see the good in others. 
  4. Reach out to those that INSPIRE You: Talk to a friend or family member that loves you unconditionally. Let them inspire and lift you up! 
  5. Make sure that you are PRESENT: It is important that you are fully present and grounded. Find a tree and get grounded. 
  6. Take small STEPS forward: You do not have to know all the answers. You can take baby steps until you gain confidence and forward movement.

Science has proven that positive thinking releases two chemicals: dopamine and serotonin. These assist with our motivation and levels of happiness. When you are able to maintain a positive attitude, it is key to unlocking balance in your life.
