SACRED CANDLES

Are you ready to be your own magical creator? You can allow the universe and other life force energies to direct your life OR you can become the master of your own journey. These candles will bring in all your dreams, your intentions and so much more! 

This is one of our MOST popular programs. This program is only offered in October and November before the holidays. You will want to reserve your spot early, since these tend to fill up fast every year. There is a limited number of people allowed in each program. The process takes five hours to complete. 

You will make twelve (12) white candles for the upcoming year. This annual magic playshop provides an amazing opportunity to connect with monthly energies, set your intentions and make candles to burn each month. The intentions will be set into the candles so they can support you throughout the year.

The spiritual elements of the white candle include:

• The jar represents your body;
• The wax represents your soul;
• The flame represents your spirit;
• And, the wick is your spiritual connection.

We take pride in making all-natural, organic and eco-friendly candles. No colors. You will have a choice of “huckleberry” scented or non-scented candles. The huckleberry scent is a signature scent for DYSG.

PROCESS STEPS

This day is about YOU! We allow 5-7 hours for the program, so everyone gets the time that they need to setting their intentions for the new year. There is no need to rush the process. 

1. THE INTENTIONS: What are your intentions for next year? Vialet provides you a set of questions that allow you to focus your intentions on twelve different areas of your life. 
2. YOUR SACRED SPACE: You are given an opportunity to set sacred space for creating and manifesting your intentions for the new year. 
3. MONTHLY ENERGIES: Vialet shares with you the energies of each month in the year and you pull tarot cards to find out what universal support that you will have for each month and for the year. 
4. HERBS, OILS & CRYSTALS: You will take the time to select the right herbs, essential oils and crystal chips to bring in the magical energies of your candles each month. Everyone will be making a candle for each month of the year. 
5. MAKING OF THE CANDLE: Vialet guides everyone through an organized process of making their candles for next year. These candles are filled with the energies and intentions that you have put into making them. 

You leave with 12 intentions candles and a journal book for your new year. Everyone is so excited!!! They cannot wait to start burning their candles each month, so that they can create and manifest their year of change and transformation.

CANDLE ELEMENTS

Palm Wax 

The candle is made with palm wax. Palm wax is an all-natural, sustainable, and renewable resource. The oil palm produces fruit in bunches, which are harvest, and send to palm oil mills where the oils are extracted, sterilized, clarified and purified into crude palm oil. The oil is sent to the refineries where it is processed into products such as cooking oil, shortening, cocoa butter, soaps, non-dairy creamers and candle wax. 

This wax is excellent for making candles. It resists melting in hot summer months. The wax can produce an infinite array of surface patterns ranging from complex crystalline designed to smooth solid colors. Using palm wax is very similar to traditional candle making techniques except there are no additives required. We keep the candle in the natural state by not adding coloring or fragrance to the candle wax. 

Environmental Concerns: The supplier that provides us with our palm wax affirms that the palm oil used for this wax originates from reputable plantation companies that are membrs of the Malaysian Palm Oil Association (MPOA). For more information: Click here

Cedar Wood Wick 

We use cedar wooden wicks in our candle workshop. The wick is an innovative alternative to traditional cotton wicks. This ancient candle technology, creates a new standard to modern-day ambiance and illumination. Candles with wooden wicks provide a safer, cleaner burning, multi-sensory experience with visual ambiance and rare acoustic release. The wicks have no carbon buildup with little debris. The wooden wicks create a soft crackling noise when they are burned and have a cleaner burn across the candle. The wooden wicks are organic and eco-friendly.
