The Energy of December

DECEMBER IS THE MONTH OF COMPLETION

As you come to the end of the year, December is about Completion. What have you finished? What has not been completed? Energies are building up for the holidays and everyone is rushing to get ready for the holidays. It is easy to overlook completing what has been started or postponed.

Completion

Take a moment and consider what needs to be completed or released at the end of the year. You do not want to carry unfinished business or old patterns that no longer serve you into the next year.

Consider some of these questions:

• What are you avoiding?
• What old habits and patterns need to be released?
• Who do you need to forgive?
• What relationships need healing?
• What goals or dreams have you been putting off?

You may have started something this year that needs to be completed or released before the end of the year. This could be a plan, project, or commitment that has not gone as smoothly as you planned. It may be time to re-evaluate and let go.

Energies: Mastery. Confidence. Intellect. Resourcefulness.

You have been resourceful in mastering an element of your life that represents achievement and success. This success has been a great achievement. It is time to shift directions. You have gone as far as you can go!

II High Priestess

Energies: Wisdom. Knowledge. Intuition. Higher Powers.

You have completed a course, program, or study that expanded your spiritual awareness of the universe. This journey was divinely guided, and you have followed your intuition. You have completed an area of studies. It is time to shift your attention in another direction.

III Empress

Energies: Nurturing. Family. Fertility. Abundance. Beauty.

There comes a time when you must allow the chicks to leave the nest. You have been the nurturing force for your family, and they must learn to walk on their own. It is time that you nurture and love yourself for a bit.

IV Emperor

Energies: Authority. Leader. Structure. Solid Foundation.

Sometimes, you are asked to build the structure and foundation for an assignment, project, or organization. It may seem like it is your baby and no one else can love it as much as you do, but the truth is that you need to let go and shift your energies in a new direction.

V Hierophant

Energies: Teacher. Teaching. Beliefs. Religion. Tradition.

You are being asked to re-evaluate your beliefs or to change directions in the spiritual teachings that you are seeking. Sometimes, you will outgrow the teacher or teachings. It may be time to focus on another topic or program.

VI Lovers

Energies: Love. Relationships. Union. Choices.

You have some unhealthy relationships that need to be released and let go of in light and love. It does not mean that you must stop caring about them and their future, but it is time to cultivate some new relationships.

VII Chariot

Energies: Take Action. Motion. Determination. Will Power

You are being asked to take action on what has been completed or is no longer working for you. There is something new waiting to come into your life, but you must release the baggage first.  

VIII Strength

Energies: Patience. Compassion. Strength. Courage. Control

This card requires that you dig deep and find the strength to let go of the things that no longer serve you. You continue to carry old baggage and habits that are holding you back. Trust the universe and hand it over to them.

IX Hermit

Energies: Introspection. Pause. Inner Guidance. Soul Searching.

The universe is asking you to take time to do some soul searching. Make a list of what is working and what is not working. This is the time to let go of any and everything that does not bring love and light to your life.

X Wheel of Fortune

Energies: Destiny. Change. Luck. Karma.

Things are shifting and changing for your life. It is time to release old baggage, so that new things may manifest. Spend some time letting go of the old. You have been asking for new opportunities and they are coming!

XI Justice

Energies: Fairness. Truth. Legal. Law. Cause & Effect.

It is time to be truthful with yourself and to release things that are not of your highest and best good. The universe is reminding you that you reap what you sow. Send only positive vibes into the world.

XII Hanged Man

Energies: Crossroads. Decision. Sacrifice.

You are at a crossroads. It is time to make a decision and move forward. You have been stalling and dragging your feet too long. The universe is pushing you to make a decision that is the best outcome for everyone.

XIII Death

Energies: Transformation. Transition. Ending. Letting Go.

It is time to let go of the things that are no longer working. You are experiencing some major transitions in your life. Change is not bad or damaging. Trust the flow and move forward.

XIV Temperance

Energies: Life Balance. Purpose. Meaning

Make sure that you have healthy boundaries in your life. The universe is putting you back on purpose. Take a critical look at things in your life. Base your decisions on what aligns with your divine purpose and provides balance.

XV: Devil

Energies: Fears. Compulsive. Materialism. Addiction.

You must move past your fears and release what no longer serves you. This is not the time to make quick decisions. Your ego is trying to protect you. Trust your inner wisdom and guidance system.

XVI Tower

Energies: Sudden Change. Disruption. Revelation

The universe is bringing into your life sudden change. It is time to change directions. The ride may get rough but hold on and flow with the waves. The energies are clearing the way to bring new energies into your life.

XVII Star

Energies: Inspiration. Connected. Hope. Spirituality

You are being inspired to complete something that you have been dragging your feet on or ignoring the signs. It is important that you stay connected and move forward.

XVIII Moon

Energies: Dreaming. Subconscious. Distraction. Auto-pilot.

Sometimes, you will choose to coast along your path. When you don’t take the reins for your life and you allow the currents to take you along, you are choosing not to be present in your life. It is time to step out of the shadows and to take control again.

XIX Sun

Energies: Inner Child. Fun. Play. Joy. Success.

It may be time to release and let go of something that you have enjoyed for a long time. This could be a relationship, a commitment in your life, a group you have been part of, a hobby that you have enjoyed, etc. The universe is telling you there is something fun coming along your way, but you need to transition from one to another.

XX Judgment

Energies: Take Responsibility. Self-Examination. Absolution.

This is the time for taking responsibility for your life and actions. Be honest with yourself as you take inventory of the things in your life. Ask yourself the tough questions: What is not serving you? What is not bringing you value? What needs to be shifted?

XXI The World

Energies: Completion. Accomplishment. Integration

There are relationships, situations, or commitments that are coming to an end. This is the time to celebrate all that has happened and to recognize your accomplishments. When things end, it allows new things to come into our life.
